“Enduro World Series, Canada”
Another hugely positive result for the Nukeproof team at the latest Enduro World Series in Whistler. Sam Hill‘s run of form in enduro races continued with a awesome 8th place on a huge day of pedalling in Canada. Nukeproof team mate Matti Lehikoinen also performed awesomely with a 15th place, which is a career best for the ex downhill racer.
Both of their Nukeproof Mega’s performed faultlessly all day on this one day race taking in a mix of natural and whistlers iconic bike park trails. Extreme heat and physical transitions between each stage tested the riders endurance to the max. Credit to the Sam and Matti results as there was a stacked field of EWS and DH athletes all in town for both the EWS and Crankworx festival. Thanks to Jacy for supporting Sam and the guys at Sram for helping Matti out during the event.
Sam was on his custom Mega 275, designed around a “Grave Digger” monster truck theme (see full story here) and Matti was on his Jarno Saarinen special (Full story here). Below are a selection of images from Fraser Britton.
Sam was again mixing it with the worlds top Enduro racers on his flat pedalled (Horizon Pedals) Mega 275
