“Podium glory”

Nukeproof step onto the podium with Sam Hill finishing an awesome 3rd overall and Team Manager Nigel Page taking a hard fought 2nd position in the Masters race.

Sam racing on “home” soil- which soon turned to mud again! 

After a week of railing the dry dusty and amazing trails of Derby, Tasmania, race day came with the predicted rain to create a real challenge for the riders.

Team Manager Nigel Page is currently in the air on his way home from Australia so lets let the pictures do the talking:

Wide bars and narrow rocks was a huge topic with the media this weekend. Sam runs his Nukeproof carbon bars at 750mm so no worries there!

For the second round in a row, rain provided an extra challenge for the racers, adding to the challenge on a already very long day 

Sam Powering his way to 2 stage wins on the day and 3rd overall in the race. 

3rd in the race behind former Nukeproof pilot Greg Callaghan and u21 champion Adrien Dailly. A result that puts Sam to 3rd overall in the standings after two rounds.  

Nigel Page takes 2nd in Masters, only 7 seconds after 7 stages behind the winner Karim Amor
