“2018- CRC-Mavic go Full Enduro”

2017 was an amazing year for Team CRC Mavic, with Sam Hill being crowned the Enduro World Series Champion. With this the team will be focusing all their full attention on the 2018 Enduro World Series with expanded team line up.
Again for 2018 the team will be lead by the legendary Sam Hill. Out to assert himself and continue his enduro adventure and push on from his 2017 title success, in what was only his first full season in the discipline.
Winning in Aspen 2017
Sam on his way to overall Series victory
Sam will be joined by Elliott Heap who will be switching from the Downhill World Cup to race in the U21 category. Elliott is no stranger to enduro winning the U21 category in Wicklow last year and is relishing the challenge.
More of the same in 2018? Podium Trio at EWS Ireland last year
Elliott- huge potential and bags of style!
Joining the team will be long term Nukeproof ace and Belfast local; Kelan Grant. Kelan has a super positive attitude to racing and is backed up with some fantastic results in the UK and Ireland, taking wins at the 2017 Ard Rock Enduro, Tweedlove and Red Bull Fox Hunt. Kelan is also the reigning Irish National Enduro Championship.
Always riding with a smile (or his mouth open!)

Here’s Kelan winning his qualifying heat at the 2017 Megavalanche on board his Nukeproof Mega 290 Pro:
At the helm and continuing on as team manager is Nigel Page. Nigel has run the CRC race program for over 10 years and is also a huge part of Nukeproof. We’re super proud to continue to work with Nigel and the team. Not only will he running the team but you will see Pager continue to race in the Masters category and select other races.
After 10 awesome years on the UCI Downhill world cup circuit CRC will be taking a break from the full time program of downhill racing at World Cup level. This will allow for a better focus of resources to concentrate on the 8 round EWS calendar as racing a few other select events. As well as racing the team will also continue to help develop some exciting products for us- keep them eyes pealed! We’re excited for 2018 to kick off and stoked to continue to work with the team.
It’s a fond fair well to Majestic/ Maroon/ mad Mike Jones. Mike has been a huge part of the team for the past 4 years scoring some incredible results including 2 overall World Cup Podiums and shown huge speed and potential to be one of the worlds fastest athletes. All of us at Nukeproof wish him all the best and look forward to watching you dominate, good luck and thank you Mike!
N.B. Don’t worry DH fan’s you will still see Nukeproof Pulse’s racing in 2018 in the hands of our Youth’s and Crankworx teams (more to come on that soon!).
