It was a huge weekend for racing. Enduro World Series in Whistler and Downhill World Cup in Lenzerheide. Sam Hill finished an awesome 2nd to close the points on the Championship.
In Lenzerheide, Adam Brayton and Sandra Rubesam put in strong runs to finish 29th (Adam) and 12th (Sandra). Racing in challenging weather, thick fog and unpredictable conditions made the track super tricky.
After a poor qualifying run Adam started in the worst of the conditions which cleared up and improved considerably for the later riders. Despite not being where he wants to be, he was happy with the run and looking forwards to showing more in the last races of the international season.
Over in Whistler, there was 2 days of brutal racing, again in equally challenging conditions, with Sam Hill climbing to an awesome 2nd in the points after a strong race, winning a stage and consistently changeling (5,4,3,1,2,2).
Elliott Heap and Kelan Grant carried on their battle with a super close 31st and 32nd respectively!
The pair were seconds apart after 45km and 6 stages of racing! Fair play lads
The result puts Sam right back in the hunt for his 3rd title. Congratulations team. On to California for the next round of the series.
