The 2019 season hit round 4 qnd 5 in the awesome Val Di Fassa region of Italy and Les Orres, France. With trails as good as the backdrop it was two amazing races for different reasons.
After his first time racing the Mega 290, Sam had some suggestions to make the bike ore suiting to his style. The changes paid off, with a stage win a 2nd position in Canazais on the proto Mega 290. Backed up by a impressive charge up the order in Les Orres after a stage 1 damaged rim and flat tyre with a series of top stage times.
The overall aim was to make the 290 ride more similar to the 275c he has used for the past few years.
