Well Redhill had finally arrived for the Team after a 2 month break due to a new series this year on the Calender . The 4x protour  had our team rider Nate Parsons competing in, but due to a big crash and injuries sustained he will be on the sidelines until  he recovers. So he will be helping  the rest of the team out with there racing at the next few events.

Redhill extreme is one of the most recognised tracks on the Uk circuit and a favourite for  many both being super fast and fun . After most of the team arriving after a 2 hour drive they headed straight out for practice . They were all looking quick and got all there lines dialled in. The first corner was the main focus point on the track being a very tight 180 degree corner there was not much room for error and would force people to make some do or die style moves.

Dom: I have always loved riding/racing at Redhill but never been able to put it together in racing there. I was feeling good on the track and the bike was running as smooth as always. I didn’t really have to put in too many moves in racing , my gates were good and i was getting the snap most times which meant i would be ahead out the first turn staying clear of other riders. I came 1st in all my moto’s , also the quarter and Semi finals. After finishing the semi’s i had a major mechanical with my gear shifter half exploding. I was lucky enough to Borrow Nates bike so i could ride the final. Unfortunatly i hadn’t taken into account Nates monsterous gearing which proved a challenge pushing due to my somewhat different gearing setup on my own bike, despite this i managed to get into 2nd out the start and push for 1st but never managed to get a move in. Overall it was a fun weekend and managed to get a good result out of it with the aid of the Bikeyard and Nukeproof.

Cai: In all 3 moto’s i got the snap and took the lead out the first turn but got taken in the 2 of them to end up 2nd place and a 1st place in the first moto. I felt good on my bike all weekend but due to a  very unfortunate incident at the finish where someone rode into my back wheel meant my disc rotor was badly bent and after trying to straighten it as best we could there was no time to spare and time for the Semi-final . I really struggled out the start and managed a 3rd which would give me a place in the b-final. Out the start again due to the disc rubbing i just didn’t have enough in my legs and ended up with 4th in the b-final and 8th overall.

Josh: After racing at Redhill last year it’s one of my favourite tracks  that we race on . With only a few changes to the track it’s pretty much untouched from last year. Usually it is won or lost in the first turn, Moto 1 i got the snap into the first turn and went for the outside getting cut up with everyone going inside i came out in 2nd and stayed there . Moto 2 was pretty much the same again with a good snap and railed the first turn and carried the lead all the way to the finish. 3rd moto was very simlair winning that aswell. Quarter final again i got the snap railed the first turn and got the win which secured me a place in the semi’s . With first gate pick i chose gate 3 which would give me the best possible line into the first turn, I got a good snap and took the outside but all 3 riders went down the inside which put me back in 4th which i managed to get past in the next corner chasing down 2nd i challenged him but couldn’t make it stick  which gave me a place in the b-final .  With only one podium spot in the b-final i knew i had to make it happen. Getting the snap out the gate i was leading into turn one and took to the inside knowing i would only get cut off again going for the outside. They actually still came on the inside but managed to go inbetween them into first leading the rest of the way gave me 5th overall .

Elliot had a very unlucky weekend at the office, after looking super quick and confident in practice it just didn’t seem to go his way in racing. 1st moto he was in 2nd coming into the first corner and went outside and ended up getting blocked out and put back to 4th and tried to make some moves futher down the track but couldn’t seem to do it. The next moto he had the lead coming into the first turn and lost hit front wheel ending up on the floor and another 4th. The 3rd moto was much the same going down again which means he did not advance on to the Semi’s . I’m sure he will be back more determined than ever to put this result behind him.

Another successful race for the Team and keep up to date with what there getting up to on
