The New Nukeproof Digger

“Digger- What the hell is it?”

We’re still working out how to class the Digger. Does it even need to be categorised? It was one of those ideas that had we been fully cognisant and potentially not under the influence of “Green & Gold Cocktails” might just have been swept aside. But with the bar tender for the night (Sam Hill) knocking up another cocktail, the idea of the Gravel Digger kept getting better.

Turns out, just like the cocktail we were drinking, it’s a magical mix of ingredients, you know it potentially shouldn’t work, but it does and then some!

It’s the bike we commute to work on, the one we reach for for that after work spin. The bike that adds some fun to that road ride to get your base fitness in by taking in some off road descents and scenery. Your new friend on an adventure, bike packing, bridle ways, get off the road and up into the hills… So many uses!

Get out and explore

For 2018 we have made the Digger more mountain bike than “Gravel/ CX/ Road bike”. The all new frame is now designed to fit a dropper post. We’ve also made the frame compatible with 650b and 700c wheels (142mm hub spacing) bolt through axle. This allows the Digger to be more capable and aggressive off road, whilst running the new WTB resolute road plus tyres for a fast rolling speed.

More support from wide 550m bars

Dropper post and 650b Mavic crossride Wheels on the Pro…

Both the Pro and Comp are specc’ed with carbon forks to add a little comfort and light weight as well as ultra wide 550mm handlebars for increased confidence off road. Finished with Sram 1×11 running gear for seamless shifting and minimal fuss (Apex on the Comp or Rival on the Pro).
