NUKEPROOF'S OF RED BULL HARDLINE

ELLIOTT HEAP & ADAM BRAYTON'S DISSENT

Red Bull Hardline- The Ultimate Downhill test for man and machine? We take a look at our two gladiators that took on the course (and survived).

Both riders used our medium Dissent 297 frames, but with very different specifications to suit their preferences, riding style and strengths. Elliott Heap choosing to use all the finest components from Team Chain Reaction Cycles Sponsorship rosta, with Adam using his choice components from his "pro-vateer" program.

Fast Machine

There is a balance both riders wanted to find between mastering the "features" and finding speed in the technical downhill in between the jumps and drops.

Both riders ran the bikes a little firmer than they would for a "normal" Downhill race due to nature of the course.

Hardline is one of the ultimate tests for the bikes as well as the riders and we're stoked that both frames and components came through the week unscathed and ready to ride another day. A testament to the toughness of the Dissent and also the quality of the riders.
