Nukeproof MegaWatt

The MegaWatt, New Spec & Wildman E-Bike 'Tony

To celebrate the launch of the new stock of MegaWatt’s, Nukeproof sent Ant “Tony” Hale to hang with Caldwell visuals and rip on his MegaWatt. The lad from Skem is a wild character. Powered by large British bakers & a well know chicken shop he can rail his MegaWatt. Enjoy and repeat.

Since launching the MegaWatt has started to rack up some highly prestigious Awards being crowned E-Bike of the Year by leadign magazine MBUK & Bike Radar. Its even some stage wins and a podium at the E-Enduro World Series with our team.

So what is new? Honestly it’s the same award-winning Megawatt frame and Shimano EP8 drive system remain, with a few tweaks to specification and subtle mods. As well as the Facoty, Elite and Comp models, Nukeproof introduce an all-new model to the line-up; the hard-hitting RS spec MegaWatt- for those that demand that little bit more.

Like the rest of the Nukeproof “RS range”, it’s specification is dictated by our Nukeproof-Sram Factory athletes. The RS is slightly overforked, so should sway towards a more gravity intended rider. +10mm on the Rockshox ZEB Ultimate forks and with the grip and durability from the Michelin DH22 show that this Megawatt is ready to lapped of the park, Downhill track or anything else you can throw at it. The new RS now completes the line up of Mega, Giga, Reactor and Scout all finished in Black ‘n Chrome.

What about the stock? With Elite models already in stores, RS and Comp Models are on the way to our dealers now (have a look for a local dealer to you here). The Factory models aiming to land in Mid-August. Keep an eye on our website and we will update delivery times and when the next drop of bikes is to our stores.
