Repeating the feat of Nukeproof-SRAM Factory Racing's Kelan Grant victory at the Rostrevor, Northern Ireland, Louise Ferguson took home the win as the fastest fox in New Zealand.

It was the first time this mass start race has been held in New Zealand, with the Cardrona bike park being the host venue. The Continental-Nukeproof Factory rider made the short trip from her home in Queenstown (Louise is originally from Fort William, Scotland). Competing alongside 150 "fox" riders, Louise was the fastest home on the 9.5km downhill course, beating the "hunter" of Red Bull's Jess Blewitt.  

Louise used her Nukeproof GIGA 297 RS. She is currently preparing for the 2023 UCI Downhill World Series season, having recently join the Continental-Nukeproof Factory team- read the story here
