Nukeproof Horizon Pro Rim
Nukeproof have designed this rim with a 28h drilling for the trail & enduro rider.
Nukeproof use a sleeved rim as this allows them to have full control over the properties of the alloy. When you weld a rim it is exposed to a large amount of heat which changes the properties of the alloy in the area around the weld. This change can lead to a weak spot in the rim. Nukeproof’s tolerances are so precise, they can ensure that the alloy properties are the same throughout the whole rim.
