The Nukeproof Blackline Dirt Suit has been designed to protect riders in the most challenging riding conditions. Inspired by snow sports, it combines the extreme protection of a one-piece suit with the versatility of a jacket and pant combo.
MTB riders are a hardy breed, it takes a certain type of crazy to have the mindset to keep pedalling all year round in the face of howling winds, driving rain and crank deep puddles – but we all do it with a grimacing smile. Meet Nukeproof’s game-changing dirt suit.
Designed and developed by the brand’s in-house team, this suit was in creative development for 18 months and thoroughly tested against its competition through two winters to ensure it meets Nukeproof’s high standards.
This tough and durable suit has a 10,000mm waterproof/breathability rating thanks to a high performance three-layer bonded fabric with four-way-stretch. A “dirt-skirt” connects the jacket and pant, creating an ultra-protective one-piece via a waterproof seal.
Riders have the versatility of running the jacket and pants separate in fair weather or the full suit when the rain is torrential. To regulate temperature, the suit features underarm pit-zips to help shed excess heat.
The hood is large enough to fit over a trail helmet and features a chin guard with a soft back internal storm guard. Dual directional zips are also fitted to the pockets to make access easy, no matter how numb your fingers get.
To ensure a dialled fit, there are fully adjustable branded braces, and the pants can be cinched by waist tabs. We know accidents happen, especially when navigating wet roots and rocks, so to keep you watertight season after season the suit comes with a repair kit, just in case.
Now there are now no excuses not to go ride, even in the filthiest conditions.
